New Course Restaurant and Catering started in 1991 with a small sandwich shop on the corner of Third & E Street NW in Washington DC. Our mission was simple, provide a quality meal and train those who were homeless and unemployed to be chefs and chefs assistants. Since that time we have been committed to the professional training and personal growth of over 400 low-income and homeless men and women in the Metro DC area who are working in many of DC finest restaurants, hotels, and caterers.
